Karlita's Taco Place - Redwood City

Papusas are usually really good, but this time they gave us a burnt one.

From tonight for Tacos crashed, had a pleasant chat with the owner during waiting for food and we came over skyrocketing food prices (because they no longer offer lengua). While expensive and need a minimum of 2, the fish tacos at Karlita's are some of the best I ever had, no exaggeration. Incredibly delicate fish, wonderful mix of flavors, and a solid bunch of ingredients to wrap it as a very satisfying nomnom. It is not your typical fried fish with Slav and Salsa on a tortilla that can certainly be excellent. The fish is a kind of slow boiled and melts in your mouth, and is finished with avocado, black beans, and is completely finished by squeezing lime juice. All right. Other tacos tried: carne asada was ok, chili verde pork was good, and the al pastor was *superb*. Get back for more!

I order through Door Dash I placed my order when it came the was items missing I called the Restaurant and spoke to the owner he told me he would make it and bring it. I thought that was VERY NICE and the food is EXCELLENT!!!!!!

Their tacos dorados are the best I have had, but of course you go here for the pupusas. They're a tiny hole in the wall in a strip mall and there's usually a line out the door. The pupusas are authentic, fairly priced, and generous in size. Options on the menu are extensive and not properly reflected by online pictures just go there and order, you won't be disappointed.

Everything I've had here is exactly what you want in a great taqueria. The papusas are thick and excellent (love pork and cheese). The super burrito is delicious, all their meats are juicy and seasoned well, the Tortas are huge and the bread is excellent. Love this spot add it to the regular rotation.
