Very nice place, clean and cozy, and love the atmosphere and vibrance of their murals. The ceviche was amazing and full of flavor. I also ordered fish and salmon tacos, which I thought was a little bland. But love the place.
Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant it’s not the type of Mexican food that is too oily or creamy for us. Instead, this is more like a tapas place with quite some Spanish dishes. Drinks are cool as well. The location is on the edge of sketchy area; we kinda afraid someone might smash our car window…
This Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem. My wife and I truly enjoy coming to this place every time we are in Redwood City. It’s hard to pick from any of the appetizers because they are all amazing. The ceviche is always fresh and has well-balanced taste. This time around I went for camarones a la diabla they had the perfect amount of spice, and it was well balanced with the rice that day put under it. For dessert we had a delicious bread pudding that they call Capirotada it was delicious. I highly recommend you make reservations ahead of time because this place tends to fill up fast. They have a full bar as well.
Came here on Saturday night. Made a last minute reservation at 7pm, but it didn 't show up in the restaurant 's system. Thankfully, I had my email confirmation to show, and got an outdoor reserved table. The restaurant was busy. Service was good. I ordered the Las Coloradas, non alcoholic passión fruit, grapefruit, mango, lemon, and ginger beer which was good. The Ceviche De Camaron was a great way to start the meal. The oysters were clean, and the Sopecitos De Pollo was meaty. The Ensalada de Sandia was delicious. I really like the watermelon and the croutons. We ended the meal with Churros.
