Restaurant Terasa Gliga - Reghin

My family and I have decided to have food here, disregarding all negative reviews because they have a big outdoor area and they are dog friendly. (We had our family dog with us). The outdoors and indoors are both beautifully designed and maintained. Very traditional....Unfortunately the food resembles nothing of it. All food was from frozen. From the stews to desserts. My stew was defrosted just before serving, as the “mamaliga” was piping hot while the stew next to it was lukewarm. When I pointed this out to the waitress she took it back to the kitchen, and they just chucked it in the microwave. Wonder how I know this? The mamaliga was now even hotter, but completely dry on the outside, the stew was also very hot. So was the plate. And the whole dish now smelled like a dirty microwave. The pickled vegetables were not so pickled either. There was only one member of staff on floor that I could see, and even she couldn’t be bothered less. All in all, we definitely won’t be back. Such a shame, cuz the restaurant has a real potential with its location and atmosphere.

For people looking for a traditional restaurant this is the place. The atmosphere and the menu are all traditional. The staff are ok, not necessarily going the extra mile. The food could have been tastier. I had a bland coffee, when I was expecting it...nicer. The papanasi were not fresh, you could tell they were frozen and heated up, not even fried. Maybe the staff could invest a bit more in their barista skills rather than staying on their phones. These days customer service is very important, as well as how the food looks like. People come also for the experience. When a group ordered food, it all came very late, even thought they phoned before so... no idea why they are treating people like that...

Very delicious, appetizers from the house. The pork borzascka a crazy pork schnitzel is absolutely mind blowing... I highly recommend the place...good prices, good service...

You find here traditional dishes like my grandma used to cook, very tasty. The salads are fine but not perfect. You have to try papanași great dessert big portion. Prices are OK.
