Newtown Restaurant - Regina

Today with my wife went to 3 pieces, we hoped to try the buffet, but this is running from 11AM-2PM, so we ordered ourselves from the menu and were not disappointed. first the customer service was excellent, we sat immediately and gave water and menus. the menu is filled with affordable and great sound options. she chose a C-Combo and I quickly got fry squid and small wonder suppe to share with her. we got an exhilarable appetizer on the house when we waited, which immediately set the ton for a good time. first we got the suppe that was big enough my wife, and I had 2 small bowls before I finished the left broth and the suppe was made very good, crispy vegetables, soft sommes and the broth tasteful. next came the combo of my wife, who was a very wealthy lazy. she enjoyed it very much and from what I ate of it, I can say it is also on place. what the quid, it was phenomenal, really well cooked, I warned it was a spicy dish and that didn't disturb me, but they can trust that the advice of the staff, as it was most people when they get a particularly spicy bite. after that we were taking home container and free desert and of course lucky cookies! it was a great experience and I would like to go back, probably try the smorg. my total order was 40.09 and I still have food left.

My food was hot and fresh. A bit bland and didn't have much for spice or flavor. Service was good and the price was acceptable. I look forward to trying them again to see if this was typical or just a bad day.

I ordered delivery. I asked for a bbq pork dish and asked for very little vegetables. I received a dish full of vegetables with 5 small pieces of pork in the whole dish. A complete rip off. I ordered a beef with two kinds of mushrooms. I was told it did not have vegetables and that's why I chose it. The dish came with lots of vegetables and hardly any meat. I theme was emerging. The order came with no utensils, no napkins, no fortune cookies and no plates. I was told 20 min and it took over an hour. Communication was terrible. They can't speak or understand english. The driver has the wrong address and no details that I provided were provided to the driver. Good luck enjoying this dive!

In the city of ottawa. google searched and found newtown with great reviews. they didn't disappoint. in the late afternoon and when I went to the bar, I greeted myself as I was royal. that was great. hot, fresh and a tasty bite without the broken coating. just like a home cooked eating. and the restaurant is immaculate, clean and welcoming.
