Star Anise Grill Indian Bistro - Regina

I was new to Regina and have a love for Indian food. While searching on Google, I discovered this restaurant and was eager to try their dishes. It was during Ramadan when my three friends and I visited. I’ve been to many Indian restaurants before, but this one truly stood out. I greatly enjoyed both the food and the service. If you try the Indian food here, you'll experience authentic flavors that represent true Indian cuisine. I highly recommend that anyone interested in Indian food gives this restaurant a try—you won't be disappointed!

I can't stress enough how incredible this restaurant is. It's the only place I go for Indian food because of its high-quality ingredients, amazing staff, and delicious meals—everything is just satisfying! Every dish is perfectly spiced, none of it is greasy, and the restaurant is clean and very inviting!

I usually order for pickup, especially when I host small gatherings at home, and I often choose Saturday and Sunday evenings for this. I love that whenever I can't dine in, I can place an order, and they usually have it ready for me within 25 minutes when I arrive after 30 minutes. I often share pictures of my orders, which have included two Tandoori chickens, butter chicken, and six garlic naans for four people. The quantity was generous, and everything was incredibly tasty. My friend and I had a great time enjoying our meal on Saturday night. When I arrived to pick up the food, the restaurant was bustling with customers. It's hard to believe it's been a year since I first visited with friends, but the food and service have consistently been excellent. I highly recommend that you visit Star Anis Grill Indian Bistro at least once to try their food. It's my favorite go-to place for Indian cuisine, and my friends and I always choose it when we're craving something delicious!

Phenomenal sortiment on broth and custom teller spinat and kartoffeln made by the cook! they have an extensive menu with delicious vegetarian and non vegetarian options!

I tried this place again after many years and it is much better now. Food is really flavourful, and a lot of the dishes are could be made vegan. I appreciated the honesty from the staff too they called us before we picked up to let us know that they realized their bhaturas and green chutney had dairy in it. They have really good indo Chinese food, I LOVED the corn soup. It was spicy and sweet, was amazing. Although the rest of the food wasn't as spicy as I usually like, the taste was so good that I didn't mind at all. Gobi manchurian was very good too. Even the smaller things like the salad was good which I usually find most restaurants don't pay attention to.
