Mama Schnitzel - Rego Park

I came to this restaurant in Forest Hills on a recommendation from a friend who lives in the area. The staff was friendly and efficient, taking our orders quickly. I ordered a baby chicken platter with French fries and access to the salad bar, while my friend ordered hot poppers and loaded fries, which were amazing! It was definitely worth the trip from Long Island.

Constantly cancelling orders made from Uber Eats or Grubhub! They never have a driver. Have had my order cancelled on more than 4 occasions. Dont waste your time.

The food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty and the service is consistently friendly. While everything on the menu is delicious, the Schnitzel sandwich and burgers are standout favorites in the area. Despite the casual atmosphere, the restaurant offers elevated versions of classic dishes that will leave you craving more. I highly recommend it!

I love the salads and the onion rings at this restaurant. It's the only kosher restaurant I've been to where people from outside of NYC come just for the great food! The entrance is accessible with no steps, but you may need assistance if you use a wheelchair or other mobility aid. I had no trouble moving around inside with my walker. The food was still hot and fresh when I ordered delivery for lunch on a weekday. However, if you plan to eat outside of the restaurant for dinner or on a Sunday, I recommend doing takeout instead due to occasional delays in service.

My chicken-shawarma wrap was so delicious that I had to come and leave feedback. you eat is always fresh and I find the service prompt. When I first had a mama burger and pommes, I tried that huh. Both are really delicious and I'll be back.
