Sydney's Blues Jazz - REHOBOTH BEACH

This is an excellent, cozy, and intimate restaurant. The new owners are very attentive and open to feedback. I've never had a disappointing meal here, and the service is outstanding; just remember to take your time because this isn’t a fast-food spot. The food and ambiance are designed for enjoyment and appreciation! The music is fantastic as well!

Another issue was that the restaurant was uncomfortably warm due to a malfunctioning air conditioner, leaving me drenched in sweat throughout our meal. But the biggest letdown was the food and service. My girlfriend ordered a special that included tomatoes and mozzarella with smoked sea salt. The mozzarella was disappointing, and they overlooked the sea salt altogether. I had to try it myself to reassure her that she wasn't imagining things. The tomatoes were also below par. I ordered the applewood smoked oysters, but the waitress decided to upsize my order when I only intended to get the appetizer portion. Furthermore, the oysters were not properly shucked and were still attached to their shells. The overall flavor was lacking as well. My girlfriend chose the pork loin with Tabasco, and I had the lobster mac and cheese. While I tasted her pork, it turned out to be quite unsatisfactory, and my dish contained very little lobster, which I didn't have much appetite for considering how hot I was by that point. Towards the end of our meal, the waitress inquired why I hadn't eaten much of my dinner. I explained that the heat was the issue, and she suggested it might be the spiciness of the dish, to which I clarified that was not the case and pointed to my sweat-soaked shirt. All in all, the restaurant fell short of expectations and wasn't worth the time or money. I ended up spending $96, including tip, and left feeling extremely disappointed due to the poor food and service.
