Personally, I thought it was decent but not outstanding. I suspect there may have been an artificial sweetener in it because there was a lingering aftertaste that I wasn't a fan of. Despite not being a huge fan of this particular flavor, I would be willing to come back and try another one. The selection of flavors is impressive, especially in a place like Rehoboth which can sometimes feel lacking in vegan-friendly options.
This vegan cookie dough ice cream was delicious! It was very sweet and paired perfectly with the waffle cone, which was also very tasty. The portion size was quite large, but the price was a bit high at almost $10. I appreciated that the ice cream was oat milk based, as I'm not a fan of coconut. However, I was disappointed to learn that their mango sorbet contains fish oil, which seemed strange to me. Overall, they have a good selection of options to choose from, which was nice.
When I visited this restaurant, I was impressed by the variety of vegan ice cream and sorbet options available. Despite planning to order my childhood favorite, mint chocolate chip, I ended up choosing a coffee milkshake with vegan whipped cream after seeing the sign. I was extremely satisfied with my choice and look forward to returning next summer to sample more flavors!
The current menu has 5 vegan options. Some bases are better than others. We tried the vegan mint chip, vegan caramel fudge swirl, and vegan cookie dough chip. I thought that the mint chip was the best overall flavor, and the cookie dough had the best mix-ins, but the base seemed pretty icy.
I went to this place as a child before they had vegan options! I got so excited when I was able to eat there again: it is definitely my go-to ice cream spot again.
