Oven Fresh Bakery

Although the sausage rolls were delicious, the overall experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The hygiene practices and customer service left much to be desired. The staff appeared annoyed to have to serve customers, and the lack of proper hygiene measures during the ongoing Covid pandemic was concerning. Some staff members were not wearing masks, one was coughing and another was sniffling with a cold. Proper hygiene practices, such as wearing masks and using tongs, are essential for customer reassurance and to maintain cleanliness. A smile and good customer service are also important. It is best to avoid this restaurant until the pandemic is over or there are changes in staff.

This local bakery is fantastic, consistently serving up delicious sandwiches. It's great to have a business like this run by locals.

This restaurant is not as good as it used to be. I miss the previous staff members who have left. The service was always friendly and accommodating. I will not be returning.

I believe this is a traditional bakery, something which is a bit harder to find these days. Based on my visit, its a tradition that needs to die out soon. After waiting outside for five minutes, I had to wait even longer for any staff to acknowledge me. When she did, the old woman could barely raise a smile, let alone offer any greeting. The products look tired, of the pastries I saw, I doubt if any were made fresh in the past week. The apple danish was dry, with a few tiny squares of apple. The sausauge roll was priced 1.40 but I was charged 2.40. It was unseasoned sausage in pale pastry. The whole experience was beyond disappointing and nothing about the situation merited the unpleasant attittude of the staff.

Just bought 4 pastries from here. The woman serving did NOT wear gloves or use tongs, just bare hands, also whilst handling money! GRIM!!! Especially as the Coronavirus is going round. You Would think this is a basic requirement! Won’t be going back
