This is a classic steakhouse with an excellent atmosphere and a five-star kitchen. I usually hesitate to order lobster at unfamiliar restaurants, but after speaking with our server during my first visit here, she convinced me to give it a try. I often find that lobster is either undercooked or overcooked to a rubbery texture, but here it was perfectly done—fully cooked and incredibly delicate. My wife's steak was also perfection, along with all the side dishes we ordered. This place is a must-visit when you're in town.

A few weeks ago, I enjoyed a fantastic meal at the Bull Ring. The food was outstanding, and the entire staff was exceptional. My experience this time was reminiscent of one I had over 30 years ago. Back then, I was dealing with a dental issue that made it difficult for me to chew, so I had to stick to softer foods. I was with my sister, who wanted something more substantial alongside the pasta, which was easier for me to eat. The staff and the manager at the Bull Ring were incredibly accommodating; they offered to prepare a steak and create the best hamburger I've ever tasted! I will always remember their willingness to help and their kindness. I will definitely return to this restaurant whenever I'm in Santa Fe. The manager, Lisa, who I spoke with about my prior experience, was particularly warm and welcoming. The decor is beautiful, too!

Dinner was outstanding! From the warm welcome by Harry G. to Lisa's incredibly friendly demeanor, everything was top-notch. The lobster was fresh and delicious, and the petite filet was to die for. The desserts were fantastic as well!

First. At the Essen Solo it is not always a good experience. Everyone always wants to sit at the bar. I called before about food and the bartender was so kind that I could? ve spoke to her for 20 minutes lol. When I arrived, the host I think was actually the manager or owner was extremely friendly although I said I had only one in my party. my server Sarah was amazing although she worked many tables. The food was phenomenal. I was in Santa Fe for a week and that was the best food and service I got all week. Very recommended! I'm chef and I've got lots of pages and I've tried everything. It was all amazing.

Was very excited to dine here and was left feeling mediocre. The location and staff are very nice. The appetizers were not a good start as they were greasy/oily and not crisp. The aioli with the onion strings was phenomenal. The food delivery timing was way off as it was 54 minutes from appetizers to main course. We were just at the point of leaving when our steaks came out. The steak was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. The sides were very large and tasty. The desert we chose was the pecan pie and that was off the charts! Highly recommend the pecan pie.....that is one of my favorites and this one ranks with the best. The coffee was good but I would suggest a better coffee cup.....I know this is something petty but at such an establishment it was odd to get coffee in a thick ceramic mug reminiscent of a truck stop diner. Overall I have to say my expectations were much higher and I left feeling a bit let down. I did.not feel a WOW factor......with the exception of the pecan pie!!!!
