Miguels Méxican Food At The Summit

I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional food, service, and ambiance. We dined in for lunch.

I really love this restaurant and have visited many times with my family and friends—it's definitely my favorite Mexican spot in Reno. However, my last experience was not great because the server messed up our order and charged us for some unusual items. I ordered a dish with meat and shrimp, but he only brought the meat. I mentioned that they forgot the shrimp, and while he did bring it out eventually, he charged me extra for it. I tried to explain the situation, but he didn't seem to understand. I'll definitely be more careful next time.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. As someone with celiac disease, I had no problems dining here, as long as I avoided obvious items like quesadillas and burritos. My favorites are the nachos and corn tacos, and the chips are fantastic! I can't wait to try more items from the menu.

Loved the atmosphere and the decor but thought it was odd that the host didn’t greet us (Unless “2?” counts as a greeting) and someone dropped off chips and salsa without saying a word…but hey, we had chips and salsa. Our server was very nice and attentive….except I asked for my soup with no extra cheese or sour cream and it was so cheesy I ended up giving it to my husband. I was disappointed because it did taste good. Overall, if I was in the area I might go again but it wasn’t an experience that made me anxious to go back.

Portions are smaller, cost has gone up, service is ehh
