The Hop Garden - Renton

Decent food and beer selection and friendly vibe but our server seriously forgot about us time and again. Also- trashy people vaping on the patio and had to breathe that until we could hunt down our server and get out of there.

Our bartender (owner? was awesome! Friendly vibes, great beer selection. Would recommend!

My husband and I had the unfortunate responsibility of going to pack up my brother James's belongings in Renton, WA after he passed away with family in San Antonio, TX. We spent every night of our 3 night stay in Renton at this bar/restaurant. From the owner, bar attendents to the patrons we met at the establishment were so nice, caring and supportive. I was a blubbering fool at the bar and crying our first night because I felt guilty having dinner and a beer during such a somber trip. We were asked every night if we would come back the next night. We did. We never even looked at another place. We were even offered a place to stay so we could stay for the cowboys game ? I can't say enough nice things about this establishment. Wonderful conversations with such good people. Good food, good beer, great atmosphere and the greatest people we met during my hardest time of my life losing a sibling. Thank you everyone and we hope to visit Renton every couple years. You left an impression we are forever grateful for.
