Stewart's Shops - Rexford

I want to start by saying that I have never had any problems at this restaurant before. However, during my visit today, I purchased lunch and realized that I had picked up an opened bag of chips. What bothered me was that the cashier had to scan the barcode on the ripped side of the bag. Additionally, I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to have cheddar cheese, but it was actually provolone. This was disappointing for me as my stomach is sensitive to provolone cheese. It was a bit of a letdown considering how frequently I visit this place.

The morning shift supervisor who served me was very friendly and pleasant. She is a valuable asset to the restaurant.

The staff is fantastic and the ice cream is amazing at this restaurant. The breakfast sandwiches are also quite good.

Standard issue convenient store/gas station. Their food is surprisingly good. Either a chilli dog or some meatballs make for a slightly above avg dinner. Their milk and ice cream are the best in the state. Their tea is pretty good, even the sugar free peach tea.

I haven't been back since the new management took over, but Marcus, the manager, is fantastic. The staff is extremely helpful and the restaurant is very clean, including the restrooms. It's always empty, but the coffee pots are always hot and ready. I would give it a 5-star rating instead of 4, but the hard rolls were stale.
