Cafe Retro Kaffi Retro - Reykjavik

This restaurant is located a bit away from the main area, but my friend and I decided to stop by for some coffee while on a walk in the harbor district. We ordered a couple of cappuccinos, which were delicious and generously sized, and a croissant. The staff member was very friendly and engaging. The prices were a bit high, but typical for Iceland. If you're visiting the Thufa (big green mound) in this area, I recommend stopping by this spot for a warm coffee break.

I recently thought of this restaurant that some friends and I visited on a school trip about a year ago. I really enjoyed the decor and the food was delicious!

This restaurant is a cozy spot to sample Icelandic soup and plockfish, a traditional fish of the day dish.

Excellent coffee dark, rich and smooth. Yummy cakes. Friendly staff. Great to have this near the best ice cream shop and the best cheese shop in town. The area is really becoming interesting.
