Willow At Mirbeau - Rhinebeck

10/10... Such a beautiful and impressive setting. Impeccable service ....I've been to Willow at Mirabeau Several times. Everyone is friendly. Local people as well as celebrities can feel at home here. The food is amazing and so are the cocktails .

Pricey restaurant with disappointing food. My wife’s burger was very well done when she ordered it medium rare. She would have had them redo it but the kitchen was so slow we wanted to get moving. She didn’t finish it. My mother in law’s halibut was over cooked and dry. The brussel sprouts were quite good. My steak was pretty good but was medium rare not rare and for the price they should have got it right. On top of it all it took a very long time to get our food.

Excellent service for an early dinner with my teen daughter The hotel itself is gorgeous to drive up to which set the tone for a lovely evening. Brussels sprouts are a must, as are the truffle fries. French onion soup was good, but didn’t taste as usual per my daughter. Risotto was good for me. Dined outside on the deck. Once I moved the dead flower from the table it was all good from there! I hope to return for a stay in the future.

What a disappointment. Beautiful surroundings, substandard food quality, seasoning lacking; my guests referred to the server's persona as Vulcan, though the maitre d was very welcoming. I don't mind spending on a high priced dinner, but my choice of the Willow for our annual Christmas dinner celebration, was a venue mistake. Will not be back to dine.

My favorite brunch spot in Rhinebeck! Welcoming environment, attentive staff and quality food at reasonable prices ?
