La Locanda - Ribble Valley

Last night we had the most amazing meal! I can't recommend laconda enough. eating is authentic, fresh and delicious. the ambiente is wonderful and the service is error-free. If they never ate here, they disappeared. it is a must! true 5 stars

We visited our 3 year old daughter this afternoon. the weather outside was terrible and rainy, so we wanted to treat ourselves! in the cozy, rustic restaurant we immediately welcomed. the personal cared very much for us and was wonderfully friendly and attentive. our daughter ava was spoken like an adult she really loved! we went to a starter, but enjoyed a plate of broth and oils that were delicious. especially the garlic and rosmarinfokaccia! the chef was also generous enough to serve a free cauliflower soup and it was just what we needed on a cold rainy day. I chose the signature chicken dish and a side of chips, my man the Italian sausage risotto and both dishes were absolutely delicious. perfectly portioned and seasoned! ava had penne pasta with ragu and she polished the whole bowl. I've never seen how they enjoy eating in a restaurant so much and we eat a lot! a wonderful little bite we can't wait to come back. Thank you!

La locanda was moved to gisburn in October 2016 and has become our favourite place! from skipton who has no decent Italian restaurant, we have several excellent meals in la locanda their authentic Italian cuisine is delicious and there are so many dings that try on the constantly changing menu. the nasty pot I had visited on a recent one was amazing, full of fish and seafood. we have a waiting list of people who want to visit and try this excellent little restaurant!

I went with my daughter in November 2016, and found the meal to be absolutely excellent. The authenticity of the food and service was superb. I have not had as good an Italian meal in years and would definitely recommend this Restaurent. Beautiful food.
