Drag's Roman Lounge - Rice Lake

This place is normally great to stop and get food but not this time. Waitress kept forgetting us, finally got the usual Mexican pizza and it just didn't taste right. Sign in the wall near front door said they are short staffed so possibly new cooks too? Don't know, was just disappointed.

Staff was excellent. The waitress was waiting tables, answering the phone, serving the bar and working the cash register by herself with the cook. She was absolutely friendly even under the stress she was under. P S, the food was excellent .

This place is a treasure! We usually get take out, but last time we dined in. The staff is friendly even when it was really busy. The pizzas were excellent! I love the thin crust, even though I was raised on Chicago Style thick crust. Tiramisu was wonderful. I make it a point to stop by when I’m in town.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and unfortunately, our experience was marred by significant service issues. We understand that staffing can be challenging, but the lack of attention we received was disappointing. After being seated, we waited for 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Eventually, my partner had to get up to retrieve menus. It took 40min for our two pizzas to arrive, which was an unexpectedly long wait time. Furthermore, at the end of our meal, we had to go up to the counter to grab boxes ourselves and settle the check. While we acknowledge the difficulties that restaurants may face with staffing, the lack of service and attention to customers impacted our overall dining experience negatively. The food itself was decent, but the poor service overshadowed our meal.

Great pizza. Will be back again to try some other items.
