Maxine's - Rice Lake

The food and the waitress were good. The young lady who got our coffee and drinks definitely showed that she didn't want to be there. A smile goes far.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Service was great! Would highly recommend to anyone passing through or locals.

I guess I’m not sure why this wouldn’t be 5 stars for anyone that goes here. Great service. Maxine herself stopped by each table to say hi. Wonderful food. I had the eggs Benedict. Great hollandaise sauce. Delicious. The pancakes were good also. BIG pancakes. The waitress UNDERSOLD how big they are, which is rare. She asked my son if he thought he could eat the 3 pancakes he ordered. He wasn’t close. I don’t think anyone needs the 3rd pancake. : Great service. Wonderful food. In the midst of disturbing American times and normals, Ms. Maxine gave me hope in humanity and welcoming in her place! The food was AMAZING! For God's life, the Bacon Waffle has changed my life! If there were more stars, I would. But the best part is that the owner with customers, everyone who enters and exits says good morning and good day, whether you are local or go through. Ms. Maxine made sure we remembered our way back. The atmosphere, the staff, other girls...... I'm excited and taken away with my first visit. This DEFINITELY will not be my last visit. Thank you and God bless you all at Maxine! Ps... the Bacon wafer is the superstar!!

Wonderful find. Great service, very clean restaurant and amazing food for the price. Recommend stopping in if you are in the area.
