Monta Ramen - Richardson

Great ramen place with rich flavors. The decor was also cute and the ambiance was casual but still felt nice. We had the takoyaki to start off which was piping hot but crispy and delicious. The noodles itself was tasty, it was chewy and absorbed the broth well. It’s a affordable place with lots to offer.

Was in the area and had this place on my list of places to try. The service was great, even though I believe the servers were not native speakers they did very well communicating in Japanese.One thing I really liked about this place is the ask you if you want your noodles regular, semi hard, like al dente or hard. I've been to a lot of ramen places in America that by the time you get your ramen the noodles are already near soggy.I wouldn't travel just to eat at this place but if you are it's worth giving a try.

Today was my first time visiting the restaurant. We wanted something different and we found it at Monta Ramen. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting. The staff was execellent. We didn't have to wait to be seated. Since this was our first time, the waiter kindly explained the menu items. I will become a frequent visitor. My out-of-town guest love it and she is 11 years old.

Definitely looking forward to going here regularly and trying all the different toppings. I got Tokatsu with pork and bean sprouts. It was the first time I've had creamy broth, and it was so delicious. Everything tasted really fresh, and it was filling and satisfying!Food: 5/5

Used to work in Vegas with a bunch of other people from Hawai’i and Monta was where we got our ramen fix. It’s the closest thing to places back home, and in Japan. They are one of the few traditional Japanese ramen spots in Dallas that cook down pork bones and make everything from scratch. Super stoked to have Monta here! They also have a relationship to Izakaya Mr. Max, and supposedly they are going to expand to an izakaya menu!Also add their fried rice and fried chicken to your ramen as a combo! Such a great value and super worth it!
