Írjon visszajelzéstAmong the bustling eateries in the Continental Plaza, this Korean restaurant stood out for being nearly empty at 7 pm on a Friday night. Curious, we took a moment to review the menu posted on the door, wondering if the lack of patrons was a reflection of the food quality. Despite noticing that they didn't offer complimentary banchan like most Korean restaurants, we decided to give it a try as we were craving Korean cuisine and it was already past our dinner time. Only hot water was served instead of tea. We ordered two combos which came with some additional items (rice, sweet soy potatoes, thin radish wraps, lettuce and sauce) that are typically included for free at other places. The food was decent overall, as was the service and speed of service. The pork belly was grilled by the kitchen staff, which was both good (allowed us to focus on eating and chatting) and bad (resulted in slightly dry meat). The restaurant started to fill up as we dined. The prices were reasonable for the portions we received. While Dolpan wouldn't be my top choice for Korean food, I would consider returning if I was in a pinch.
The service was lively and friendly. The BBQ ribs, kimchi fried rice, and bulgogi bowls were all delicious. The prices were a bit high, but the food was worth it. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Korean cuisine.
Went here for lunch on a Monday and it was completely empty. The food is just as good as it was before, not sure why people are complaining. In the past they did have a grill on the table but they always had their waiters cook it at the table for us. Howis this different to the kitchen cooking the meat perfectly? When you self cook, you can burn the meat if you wait just a bittoo long. The pink radishes were sooo good. Completely worth it to get the combo!
Stopped by this plaza for dinner and ended up at Dolpan it was empty when we got there at 7:30PM but every table was full when we left! We got the corn cheese $4) to start. It was really tasty but the cheese didn?t stay melted for long. Next was thekalbi beef rice bowl $15.50). It came with some well seasoned beef ribs and an egg, but it didn?t have any veggies. The bestdish was the army hot pot. Good amount of ramen, bean sprouts, rice cakes, sausage, spam, tofu, pork belly, kimchi and toppedwith cheese! Also the perfect amount of spice. Banchan has to be ordered separately at extra charge. Service was great though!
We were a little disappointed to discover that we couldn't barbecue at our table as everything is done in the kitchen. We ordered the BBQ Combo B, which included 4 cuts of pork for up to 4 people. The portion size was generous and flavorful. However, we were not impressed with the bland japchae, overly sweet rice cake, and oily fried rice. The prices seemed a bit high as well. The restaurant was clean, the service was excellent, and there was plenty of parking. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.
