Thai Son - Richmond

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We ordered the special pho and two dishes of broken rice. The pho was too salty and the broken rice was not served correctly - the rice was soggy. The grilled meat was overly sweet. I would only give this place 1 star, but I am giving it 2 stars because the server was beautiful and attentive. Even though he was on his break and having lunch, he still made an effort to acknowledge and greet the diners.

Oh wow! The shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts stuffed Vietnamese crepe is incredible! It's crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and so big! The portions are generous and the food is fresh. They also offer all the traditional pho toppings. The ice-cold condensed milk silk was delicious too, with a taste reminiscent of white candy.

Even though it may be misleadingly named, this restaurant is actually a fantastic Vietnamese spot in Richmond. Visitors looking for Thai food should look elsewhere, but they won't be disappointed if they end up here. The restaurant offers delicious and flavorful Asian cuisine in a clean and inviting atmosphere, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent recommendations, and prompt service. Definitely worth a visit.

We were very impressed when it was only opened a few years ago, but we have since eaten many vietnamesen and also in vietnam. we tried to eat here on our revisit after richmond and found that this time it is very average. it is now a cashless institution.
