This place has been mentioned by a lot of locals as being the best sushi spot in Richmond. If that's so, then I feel bad for the people in Richmond....

The place is pretty small. Service staff is excellent but food is just average. If you need quick fix of Japanese fast food , here 's the spot.

No rating to report as only ate at a predecessor restaurant in this location on Robinson St. which was The London Cafe.  Maybe this location on Sheppard St. is where Akida moved to, but their old location on Robinson between Grace & Broad Streets has a "for lease" sign on the building as of my drive by on 2/19/16 and there's no business located in that spot now.

Wonderful local favorite! Fresh fish and great service, would definitely eat here again
