Carmengio’s - Richmond

This neighborhood restaurant features very calming decor. It's a peaceful spot, perfect for dining and having a conversation. The bread and dipping sauce are fantastic. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which came with pasta and sauce. While it was a bit too salty, it still tasted great. I also got a side salad (with a $4 charge), and the creamy peppermint dressing was delightful.

The food is excellent. However, there were only a few employees working during my visit. You need to pack up any leftovers yourself and ensure everything is placed in your to-go container. They do provide bread for the table, but it's limited to one roll per person. The water is served from a glass bottle that is left on the table after being poured. I ordered the chicken parmesan with spaghetti, and it was fantastic, although a bit pricey at $15.00 for the dish. The tea was nearly $3.00 as well.

This restaurant offers fantastic Italian cuisine! The stuffed shells are substantial, with a generous 2 lbs of filling, and the Pasta Carbonara is exceptional. The owner personally attends to the tables, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome with a smile. Highly recommended!

This is the best Italian food in Richmond! The deposit is very warm and welcoming. Once you get in, every employee will try to welcome you. Tables and stands are available. The entire atmosphere is relaxing and lets you feel at home. Eating is generously portioned so if you are sharing in the mood, you will both be full of the meal. Each dish has plenty of taste in every bite and there are many options to choose from. The menu has been updated and is now easier to read/select as there are descriptions under meals. If you are going through or in general, you must stop from Carmengios.

I came here for my 21st birthday today with a friend. We were greeted by a lovely server named Hannah and seated down. She was very prompt and attentive and I appreciate how kind she was to us. If you're looking for a elegant, intimate setting to do a proposal or go over business I would definitely recommend this for you.
