Carytown Burgers and Fries - Richmond

Good burger place. I really enjoy the atmosphere. It's not fancy but they pay attention to their food more than the decorations. I like that.

My meal came faster than was expected and my burger was delicious! The burger included everything I asked for and was not too expensive. It was also a good size. I was not left longing for more. I will certainly order from here again!

Awesome burgers....years ago! Now dry flavorless burgers on several recent visits with friends and family. Bread seems dry and a few days old as well. No Brioche buns here! Many better burger spots in RVA. It's a shame as Carytown was my go to burger joint for years.

Place is unbelievably filthy everywhere - like there is a greasy dirty film coating everything. Bathroom door does not lock so I walked in to an employee taking a dump! Should have just left. But I ordered anyhow. Staff seemed preoccupied with each other rather than helping me, the only customer standing at the counter. Burger had an old, not-so-fresh funk to it. Soggy mess so bun fell apart. Fries were heavy & soggy. I have absolutely no idea how or why people freely choose to eat here. Never again.
