Venue was great for the event we went to see but that was it they were selling hot beer and what looked to be food from apot Luck

Good hotel venue in the heart of RVA,easy to find,parking isn't bad considering the city can be tricky to find parking at times,we were there for an event,the layout was very nice,the hotel had different sandwiches snacks available for a reasonable cost,they also offered alcoholic beverages $5 other beverages for a couple bucks,my only gripe is 45 minutes into the event the hotel ran out of beer leaving many people wondering why such a small amount of beer was available for a 2 1/2 hour show,besides that one hiccup,the staff was very friendly accommodating to the attendees of the event,ballroom was nice as well,would definitely recommend!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this venue and the staff because our experience was everything we hoped for and more! the venue coordinators Maria and Tyler were an absolutely DREAM to work with, they were always so helpful, incredibly responsive and super flexible to make our day the best possible! We had several impromptu walkthroughs (family wanting to see it, vendors, me just being a planner and needing to visualize and every time they were so accommodating and happy to see us! We purposely wanted to find an indoor venue with no room flip required that was in our price range and the JMB was exactly that! We had our ceremony in the Marshall ballroom and Reception in the Virginia ballroom, thank goodness we did an indoor venue because it snowed unexpectedly on our wedding day but we didn't have anything to worry about since our entire wedding was indoors! The catering team was amazing too, I thought having a duo plate would alleviate confusion but we still had a lot of requests of double beef, gluten free etc. and the catering team made it all work out flawlessly! I also assist as an onsite wedding planner as my own side job and I have to say my wedding was the FIRST I've seen the food come out quick and timely and not only were we on schedule we were actually ahead of schedule, which is unheard of! The food was amazing, the spaces for ceremony and reception are absolutely beautiful! We did cocktail hour on the mezzanine which they said was a first but our guests absolutely loved it! You can really transform the spaces into whatever you need, and Maria and Tyler are there to help every step of the way! I think the saddest part of wedding planning being over is not chatting with them every week! : I would recommend this venue and this staff to anyone and everyone looking for an all indoor wedding venue!

Very nice. Convenient all in one venue. Food was great. Serving staff was great too.
