We loved this place! The bride was so tender and moist. We also got pork, the fried fish sandwich, pommes, Mac and cheese and cold float. Just totally loved. I got some beers on Hahn. The prices were so reasonable and loved the atmosphere. I think Ariss was our server and she was great. Attention and friendly! Will definitely be back when you visit Richmond.

I was excited to try this Black-owned BBQ. I ordered via GrubHub, which I shouldn't have done because the delivery was late and the food was just lukewarm by the time I got it. While I can't complain about the portion size of the sides, I wasn't too happy with the portion size of the brisket entree. The brisket was tender. The macaroni was on point. I didn't care for the bbq profile of the baked beans and bbq sauce that came on the side.

Went here for brunch on a Sunday. It was packed, which is never a bad thing. The customer service was on point, I honestly think that was their biggest point because when it gets busy like that , customer service can go down. The DJ was really good so if you don't mind noise, that was a plus. We got seated fairly quickly. Food wise, eh. The grits were bland and bit crunch in some bites. The fried fish was seasoned and cooked well though. I will be back for the actual BBQ part of the menu.

My first time here. I had a pulled chicken sandwich. Maaaaan when i tell you that was a sandwich. I wanted a to go for later and the next day. Place was really clean. Lots of outlets so i had no problem charging my laptop. The server was really nice. I really enjoy it there. I will be back to try more food.

I listened to the hype about this place and unfortunately it was ruined for me. I was expecting AHHHHMazing and got ?decent for it to being in a ok location?. We ordered the ribs, collards, macaroni and cheese, BBQ pulled chicken sandwich and fries. The best item out of all, was the fries. Now they were great compared to everything else. The consistency of the chicken sandwich didn?t look appetizing but it was edible. Overall, the food was decent. The cocktails we ordered to go were EH. Will I return and rave to other foodies? Uh, I doubt it but if I?m craving some bomb fries, I?ll be back.
