Chi Star House - Richmond Hill

Came to Chi Star for a friend’s birthday, we booked early because we had 16 people and they gave us a semi-private room, separate from other 2 small table with a curtain. Table was big enough but we sat cramped, wish they had a bigger table or give us the whole space. Food was awesome though, we opted for a king crab combo and added a lobster combo plus a couple of additional dishes, all were delicious. The only point deducted was the space and seating, which was way too cramped. The restaurant is super busy so make sure to call and make reservation, and some food will need to be preordered, check their menu. We brought our own wine and sake, their corking fee is $20 unlimited bottles, which is reasonable.

The bitter gourd and ribs bowl lunch combo with soup rice tasted good and reasonably priced. a bit MSG...

Too slow and they are prioritizing the delivery more than dine in.There are many food flies!!!

You will love this restaurant. You definitely need make a reservation before you go, otherwise you’ll wait quite long time.We went there on Saturday night. And I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. The dishes offered a unique blend of flavors and ingredients that left a lasting impression. The only aspect to note is that the restaurant isn't particularly spacious, and the interior decor is rather modest. Best lobster I had. The lobster was huge and fresh. The flavor was amazing on everything we ordered. This place seems to be always have a line of people waiting to be seated even at 8pm so you should made reservation before you visit. The service is decent, not great because of how busy it is. Overall great experience.
