Cafe Rosa Pizzeria - Ridge

This pizzeria is pricier than others in the area. While the food is quite good, the restaurant itself feels a bit shabby and unclean. The staff is friendly, but there is definitely room for improvement. Additionally, the specialty pizzas look somewhat stale; they really should prepare fresh pies during lunchtime. Instead, they seem to serve them from the fridge, leftovers from the previous day, which is not ideal. UPDATE: The restaurant has now closed down.

This place has shut down, and it's a shame because it used to be a go-to spot for pies. I know they faced a lot of competition nearby. I heard the owner purchased Michelangelo's in Center Moriches—wishing them the best of luck!

OMG! Guilt free pizza with a dynamite crust to go with it. This place has the most amazing veggie pizza (and every other type of pizza) to stay or to go. The owner, Doug, has the most amazing thin crusted pizza I 've ever had. There 's magic in the food here! And if it 's a full dinner you want, he serves it. Lastly, portabella on everything or portabella on anything makes this place wonderful! Veggies are alive here!!! The greatest pizza I 've ever had is right here at Cafe Rosa. Veggie lovers can choose from over 4 different kinds of veggie delights. Or if it 's just chis (cheese), you can 't go wrong. They serve grandma and great Sicilian too! There is no place on Long Island like this place. You won 't regret coming here.

This is one of my go to pizza places. I just recently moved to the Island from the south, so my opinion on pizza isn't worth much, but this place is good. It's actually the first place where I had REAL pizza not that fast food garbage. The staff is friendly, the store is clean, and the food is always delivered quick. The baked garlic knots are my new favorite from here. They take a garlic knot, top it with mozzarella and melt it over the top. The pizza isn't the only thing I order from here, their pasta and other Italian dishes are also very good. I don't think I've ever ordered anything from here that I didn't like.

I ordered 2 grandfather pizza, omg!!!! the flavors was superb!!! Will definitely order from this place again!
