Kurth Cottage - Ridgewood

Lunch was very good, quick turn around. Servers were a little cold, seemed like there was a management problem. But the employees need to know do not project your personal problems on the clients .

Small selection but very well done food! Great place to relax and recharge while waiting for your loved ones to get better.

This is an excellent spot to grab a meal and take a break while visiting patients at Valley Hospital! I always go for the Philly Cheese Steak and chips—it's my favorite!

This is actually a charming little coffee shop. Their coffee is excellent, and the various snacks available all looked appealing; the ones I tried were quite delicious. Although some items are priced a bit higher, I expected the prices at a hospital coffee shop to be steeper. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were not.

There are also counter areas for a more casual dining experience. While the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, the decor could use an update, as it feels a bit reminiscent of the 1980s. If you find yourself needing to eat hospital food, Kurth Cottage is a pleasant alternative.
