The prices are higher, but we were hungry and simply ordered that eating was excellently garnished and it was all that the noodle heart desires. Food was very delicious You can only recommend!
22.08.2016 After a visit to the Nudelmuseum and the Nudelmanufaktur, a visit to the highly praised restaurant Makkaroni was of course on the plan. We were looking for a place on the beautiful outside terrace and ordered the day dish (noodles with pifferlings etc. and noodles with basil dumpesto. I forgot the exact names of the dishes, but it always sounded very nice and oriented at the used noodles. Short and good: Very delicious! Nudelmilchreis was ordered for dessert. Of course with apple compote. I can only say a dream. However, I have tasted almost no difference to milk rice, which raises the question of the need for pasta... Unfortunately, this remained unanswered. The service was very friendly and accommodating. There is a point deduction because of the not quite beautiful ambience, since the factory hall immediately bordered the Terasse (with road in between, but always in sight.
The restaurant can be visited well after a management, there are many buffet evenings, there would be room for larger companies. The ambience is very pleasant and a nice beer garden invites you to stay in summer. However, the prices are extremely plucked, but there are huge proportions. You can see what you can do with the diverse range of the manufacturer's tasty and varied noodles from appetizer to dessert. Very nice.
Before we visited the Nudelmuseum, we had to strengthen ourselves here: The map is quite extensive and there is a large selection of dishes, both with meat or fish and vegetarian. It should be emphasized positively that there are not only Italian pasta variations, but also many dishes with local or more traditional ingredients, so our ordered dishes included, for example, hosting and sour beet. As it is for a noodle maker, sweet desserts with noodles are of course also available, but of which we have not managed any more with the best will. Because the portions are really huge and we have unfortunately noticed too late that there are also senior plates. The food tasted good, even if we didn't even make half. However, the rest was transported by the nice and accommodating staff, so that after another 50 km on the bike we were happy to have cleaned what was left. Conclusion: Not the Non Plus Ultra, but very solid performance at slightly elevated prices.
Very tasty and suitable for Riesa riiiesensized portions therefore prefer to order a small portion;
