Exquisito Mexican Food - Rio Rico

Really great cooking. This hole in the wall Mexican restaurants are almost always much better than fast food joints. The food was really EXQUISITE, the waitress very friendly and hospitable, served with real class and a little artistic flair actually, very charming place.

Beautiful interior, beautiful covered terrace. Friendly server (but not speak English). Full bar specializing in seafood. We only had margaritas, but we'll be back for dinner.

The morning person is nice and attentive. One evening a waitress seemed annoyed and the food was ok. Went there yesterday and sat facing the kitchen. The waitress would pick up the used plates, throw the food in the trash and then pick up the food we ordered without washing her hands. She also handled the silverware without washing her hands. Never again will I ever eat there. It's not sanitary. We ended up leaving after that happened.

Great service, food not too good, they were out of ingredients. I wish they would have said so.

The place isn't terrible, but not great. The other reviewer is correct: they don't filter their water, so their coffee, tea (and probably their menudo) are bad. My chiliquiles were just OK, my wife's burrito was good. Service was slow, but passable. Bottom line: get burritos (they are reasonably priced) and fountain drinks and you should be satisfied.
