Fuori Rotta - RIOMAGGIORE

View is amazing but service and food average. Everywhere in Italy you get oil and bread as standard. Where when we asked for more oil (believe me they gave us a few drops each) they acted like we had asked for gold! At no point did any of the wait staff check on our enjoyment of courses or offer any form of service outside of delivering each course to other minimal students engagement. Honestly the whole meal was over priced for what was delivered

The pictures of this restaurant and the views of Riomaggiore are outstanding. However, read the menu before you come here because 4/5 in my party couldn’t find anything on the menu we wanted to eat. Completely inaccessible I am admittedly not the most adventurous of diners but can always find something that I will enjoy. Not here. We left to the anger of the pretentious chef. In addition, outdoor seating is not guaranteed and not given the option when you book so take your chances. If you are into this type of food and get lucky to be outdoors you may have a great night. We opted for another spot in town and had a great meal that everyone enjoyed lesson learned will read the menu first next time!

My wife and I had an amazing experience at dinner here as we dined outside on the terrace overlooking the town. We got the chef’s choice coursed out dinner with the wine pairing and each course was amazing. We don’t usually like seafood, but loved the seafood here. We had dinner as the sun set and the town lit up. It was fantastic. My recommendation here would be to reserve early and ask for a table on the terrace outside, well worth it and looked like a better experience than eating inside the restaurant itself.

Excellent; a bean. dishes of Italian and Ligurian tradition, revisited with a lot of research and originality.
