The Vine House - Ripon

Omgahhh... I think I'm in love! I had their salmon special and I am salivating just thinking about it. The food was absolutely delectable and beautifully presented. Gourmet cuisine, which is hard to find in this area. They have a vast selection of wine. I tried a Paso Robles red blend from Harvey and Harriet, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and a Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc that I cannot get out of my head! Can't wait to go back!

Great service and delicious food! Very unique menu; not your run of the mill selections. Best to make a reservation as this small venue fills quickly.

We always hope Vanessa is working when we go to the Vine House. She makes the whole experience so much better...such a sweet personality and truly welcoming. She is on top of everything, no matter how busy it gets. The food is top notch...the chef and his crew are a well oiled machine who know what they're doing.

I wanted to try out a new restaurant and picked this one based on the reviews. We arrived at 5:30 on a Thursday. Several tables were available. We were seated quickly. The waitress was friendly and gave her reviews of my food selections. I ordered the peach bruschetta for starters and had the cob salad. My husband had the French dip. About 35+ minutes later we received the 3 small toasts with the peach topping. Fair. Another 20+ minutes to receive our dinner. I wish I had ordered the salad dressing separate as I felt it was a little too drenched. My husband 's French dip came with a side of vegetables. Not sure I would call it a side ...it was a dixie cup size of 1/4 sliced vegetables. He said the sandwich wasn 't anything special or better than he 'd had at other restaurants. The chairs are wooden and very uncomfortable to sit for that long. The restaurant is very noisy when it is full since the ceiling is high and the sound just bounces off everything.

Our future daughter-in-law had her Bridal Shower there yesterday it was absolutely beautiful the food service was impeccable! 5 for sure:
