The Habit Burger Grill - River Edge

I went to the restaurant with a friend and ordered two burgers. For some reason, each burger was served at different times. I specifically requested that both burgers be brought out together since we wanted to eat them at the same time. One burger arrived, and I had to wait for the second one. When I told the staff that the burger on the counter was getting cold, they simply threw it in the garbage and informed me that two new burgers would be out soon—no apology or explanation given. Eventually, the two new burgers arrived, but still, there was no acknowledgment of the earlier issues. As a burger place, they should understand that serving burgers at different times doesn’t make for good service.

I received the wrong order and found hair in my food. I ended up throwing it away, which felt like a waste of $17.

This is the second time that they leave ingredients from salad as if people do not notice. I have the Santa Barbara Cobb salad and there was no blue cheese or bacon crumbs. I mean, it was a chip of egg and tomatoes with a small doll avocado and a thin sliced dried chicken breast. The quality has gone down and she? re tried to trick you out of ingredients.

On my first visit to The Habit, I was craving a burger, but I've recently decided to cut back on bread. So, I searched for places where I could get a salad wrap, and this spot was at the top of the list. The interior is beautifully decorated, with plenty of space, and the signs are bright and easy to read the menu. You can even see into the kitchen from where you sit. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Burger along with Fried Green Beans instead of fries. The burger was fantastic, and the salad was wrapped with actual salad pieces rather than just a single leaf like at some other places. The greens were fresh, and the spicy sauce that accompanied them elevated the dish from a solid 6 or 7 to a perfect 10. I will definitely be back!
