Carl's Jr. - Riverside

So slow. Empty restaurant took forever for chicken stars and fries. Took 20 minutes then I asked for my food and they picked it up from a back area bagged ready to go,But didn't say anything until I came up and asked for it.

Worst experience of any fast food place ever! The burger we paid too much money for had been sitting in the warming bin for at least an hour. The bun was so hard you couldn't bite into it. French fries were old and stuck together. Just horrible. Employeesobviously don't care about what they are pushing out the drive-thru window. I will never spend my hard earned money at thisplace ever again.

I’m curious why it took 20 minutes to receive my sandwich when the restaurant was completely empty. Additionally, I noticed one employee wearing a Blaze Pizza shirt while working at Carl's Jr. and another in a Playboy University sweater. Is it standard for Carl's Jr. employees to wear uniforms from other brands like Blaze Pizza and Playboy?

For instance, I specifically asked for the jalapeño Angus burger but received the cheaper version with a small patty instead. Another time, I ordered the hand-breaded bacon Swiss, but I got a regular chicken sandwich with just chicken and pickles. All the other cashiers managed to get my orders right, so I know it’s possible. I want to clarify that I don’t think he should be fired or anything drastic like that. Despite my complaints, he handled everything very professionally and has a friendly demeanor. I just believe he would do better with a bit more training.

The service could have been improved. We clearly communicated our orders, which included the well-known large red cup. Despite our clear intentions, we were switched to a different cashier, which felt a bit dehumanizing, though I can understand the reason. After overcoming that initial hurdle, I must mention the long wait time. The drive-thru was slow even though there were only two cars ahead of us. When we finally got to the food window, we had to wait quite a while for our milkshakes. They also forgot to include our hamburger, likely due to poorly functioning speakers. Overall, however, we were pleased with the food.
