D'elia's Grinders - Riverside

In my opinion, the key element is the bread. It often seems to be the deciding factor for most people—either they love the crispy texture or they can't stand it (at my shop, it's a 3 to 2 ratio in favor of the love). My go-to order is the double roast beef with extra pepper, paired with Sweet Maui chips and a Mr. Pibb, and that’s all I need. I’ve never had a bad experience here; the first time I visited was back in 1974-75 with my brother Bill.

What an incredible restaurant! It's spotless, and the staff is very professional. My delicious sandwich was ready in no time. The prices are fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

There’s no grinder in Southern California quite like the ones from D’Elia's. They truly are a phenomenon. You either adore them, crave them, and relish every bite, or you don’t enjoy them at all. This Riverside spot is a must-visit for anyone from out of town. Each sandwich is an experience, and they’re absolutely delicious!

When you are down town you have to stop there. Delias has the best grinders. Been going since you had to order outside through a sliding window!

We have been coming here since 1960’s one of our Favorite place’s to eat. We have never had a bad sandwich always made correctly.
