Lefty's Cheesesteaks - Riverside

Nothing wrong with quality of food,service or freshness just not what I thought a Filly cheesesteak is maybe I just expected too much and this is what their style of cheesesteak

The place is clean and the kid was nice but the sandwich was a scorching gooey mess , maybe they have something good on the menu but what I had was like a frozen sandwich put in the microwave set on a billion volts , and no ice in the ice machine to cool down this radioactive mess! Sorry but lefty’s left me with a bad taste in my mouth

The staff at this restaurant were friendly. The food was not great, especially the chili on the fries, which was horrible. The cheese steak was okay. The restaurant was clean. I visited on 4/22/2022 and spent $20, and received one free lottery ticket from the liquor store next door.

I really enjoyed this restaurant but it seems like it may be closing soon. I tried to order yesterday, July 4th, but when I called ahead because of the holiday, there was no answer. Today, when I went to get my sandwich, I found a "temporarily closed" sign on the door and the owner was there. When I asked him about reopening, he seemed unsure and mentioned that the employees may have left suddenly. It looked like a locksmith was changing the locks. The owner also mentioned that another location on Magnolia Ave would not be opening as planned. I'm disappointed because I loved their sandwiches and now I need to find a new place for a great cheesesteak in Riverside.

This restaurant is absolutely awful! The prices are way too high and the food is a mess. The chicken sandwich was completely undercooked. I would never eat there again, even if you paid me. I am extremely disappointed. The food looks nothing like the pictures.
