This bakery and pâtisserie shop is the best outside of France, no question about it. I discovered it 11 years ago and have been coming here 2-3 times per year, despite living 15 hours away. They have recently upgraded their premises with a clean restroom and a sit-down area where you can enjoy your treats during the colder months. They have always had an outdoor patio with a fantastic view of the St. Lawrence River. Their croissants are flaky, buttery, and have too many layers to count. Their blueberry danishes and turnovers are juicy and filled with local wild blueberries. Their fine pâtisseries are stunning, incorporating seasonal fruits and nuts. While it may be pricey, it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place! 10 out of 10!
