Írjon visszajelzéstThe original Fried Chicken shop in Binondo that started it all 90 years ago. The chicken and pancit canton combination is still an undisputed must order for a first timer. They may not have been as visible as their competitors (who have aggressively expanded) but they rank on the top tiers of delicious chicken goodness.
Still the best fried chicken restaurant for me. Moist, and perfectly seasoned, pair it with their killer pancit canton. Kaboom! This resto is a Binondo/Sta Cruz institution, been around since your Grandparents were dating.
Undeniably, this iconic Ramon Lee's Panciteria is one of the best, if not the best, restos in Chinatown. I always go for their pancit canton and miki bihon, which are both perfectly seasoned and at the same time affordable. Their lumpiang shanghai is also good, although Sun Wah's is still unbeatable. Their fried rice is also decent for its price point and their fried chicken is a must-try. Just a tip: If you want your pancit canton or guisado to be a bit saucy like I do, just ask them and they will politely cook it the way you want to.
The ambiance was very much reminiscent of the old days, I guess a slight renovation would be good. Their price is comparable of the restos at the mall. Their popular chicken is indeed delicious but very small in serving, it's like spring chicken size. The pancit is also good.
Since elementary days in the 80s our parents used to bring us here at RamonLee to eat Lunch ..right after quiapo mass.. With Fine meal that goes with the best soup. This is what were looking for every Sunday.. Sadly..they closed for a while and it really broke our heart. Now my parents are gone..I promised my husband n Kids that I'll bring them at RamonLee..so I could feel the past ..and let my own family experience them. The Old ambience let's you appreciate the traditional way that one would surely comeback for more.
