Shocked by the poor reviews! The food was far better than we expected and the service was unmatched. We got there about 6:15 and there were no tables but she said she could put us down for 7 and we could go play so we did. Showed back up at 7, table was ready. The wings were perfectly cooked, loved the BBQ dry rub. Dirty rice was cheesier than expected but like nothing I'd had before, very good. Polish sausage was on point. Service was perfect.

We had an amazing experience but I mainly credit that to the knowledge and outgoing personality of our bartender Brandon! He was wonderful , he made me an amazing drink , and made me a custom drink, because he took the time to listen and understand that I do not enjoy the flavor of alcohol. But the drink he made was perfect and I didn't even taste the alcohol....but it was there : I am giving two stars because after returning hoping to see Brandon again, was informed he was no longer employed there due to the reason of missing work to take care of his sick newborn child. I just can't understand how a company could be so unempathetic to the condition of an employee. Very disappointed.

Me an my husband went to get a few drinks before we hit the town...it's was a nice atmosphere people seemed friendly..the bartender we had I think he's name was Brandon his service was amazing...he listened to use talk about how we were from England an was visiting family here. He gave us good tips on thing to do an see in the area...we asked him to surprise us with a drink an the drinks he made for us were delicious I don't remember the name of it.. I wish i did so I could make them back home..very professional...the girl waitress we had was fast don't remember her name she was blonde..we will be back before we head back over seas so see you an your bartender with the rocking drinks soon

Worst experience EVER! Do not eat here. We ordered our food and drinks at the same time because it took 20 minutes for our waitress to get to us. Then we got our waters 20 minutes later (even though we ordered cocktails). Our food came out about 25 minutes after that and then when we were done eating the awful food-our drinks finally came when we were ready to get out of there. The waitress then proceeded to hand us our check and wait for us to give her the money while just standing at the side of the table telling us she had to pee. I normally do not write negative reviews but this was definitely warranted. The boneless wings were so chewy and dry and our shrimp po boy sandwich had mostly lettuce and sauce. The side of carrots and ranch dressing were the most edible.

We come to Gold Strike quite often. We always eat here at least one of the four days that we are here. Went tonight and the service was horrible. Our server Fredricka was very, very rude and we seemed to be a huge inconvenience to her. My husband ordered a 14oz steak despite the fact that it was still mooing it was also very cold. Not even warm! Alot of things were wrong with our food but the server didn't seem to care. No cheese on the broccoli as requested and it was cold. French Fries cold. We asked for salt and received two pepper shakers and after asking repeatedly still never received salt shaker. After alot of frustration I walked up to the hostesses desk and requested some of the things we needed at the table. Jacqueline was very sweet, very helpful and had exceptional customer service. This was a bad experience all the way around. Even though we have eaten here several times and this was the first bad experience that we have had here. But It was surely one for the books!!! I will need good luck convincing my crew to eat here again. #party of 6)
