La Carona Mexican - Rochester

Everything here was excellent. Service was great, everyone was very friendly. I had the Cozumel salad - the shrimps were perfectly cooked and the mango dressing was very tasteful. My husband had a shredded beef chimichanga and it was also very tasteful. Drinks were also great and prices are reasonable. We will certainly return when we are in the area.

This restaurant becomes one of my favorites for many reasons. The outside of the building is well kept, the landscape is well maintained and the Classic Diner mirror walls on the outside seem like the day they were inserted. The interior is as beautiful as the outside, my favorite is the wall of the candles, it feels like a piece of memory honored by lost loved ones. The chairs are surprisingly comfortable, Sleek wood design beautiful architecture. The service is top notch our waiter not English as his first language, but we understood perfectly. The food was also delicious, although it could only use a tad more taste.

Probably the best place to eat in Rochester, and definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the area. My wife and I have dined in La Corona for almost 10 years and we have never even disappointed with a meal, whether eating or taking. The food is excellent and generally so is the service that the staff treats us like family. I also love the '50s Diner Vibe it really works! Can not recommend enough if you are in Mexican food (or burgers who have big burgers, also! .

Just awesome! Fresh chips and some of the best salsa I've ever had, delicious guacamole, perfect margaritas, and every entrée I've had there has been excellent. Friendly staff, very reasonable prices, gorgeous retro diner exterior and even great music can't think of a single bad thing to say.

I?ve been going here for over a year and I wanted to wait to make this review to see if my opinion would stay relevant. It is. La Corona offers incredible service, I love Juan, he?s super attentive and friendly. The food is amazing, I try something new every time I go and I haven?t been disappointed. I went for my own birthday and a friends and if you let them know they make sure to make your birthday dinner memorable. The atmosphere is beautiful as well, along with music consistently playing.
