Tavern At Gibbs - Rochester

Tavern on gibbs was a disappointment. the environment is old and tired and needs a complete update. that was in order. my man had the fish frit and it was cooked over. so he peeled off the coating and ate the fish inside that was good. the French pommes were very good. I had chickens with a cream sauce on pasta that needed a little more taste. our main problem with eating was that there was much too much. that sounds like a strange complaining, but the amount on the plates was very unobtrusive. the parts were enormous and finally the bartender could not make a very simple basic drink. we are not going back.

We had reserved a Friday night during the french festival. this restaurant was decent: eating and drinks were good. there was only one server in and he was exchanged! he did the best to manage the bar and tables. Unfortunately we had to wait so long, we had only time to eat our appetizers and had to cancel our main dishes. whoever was responsible for the personal epic failed.

This restaurant is now abbreviated. hope of a kingdom of a kingdom of a kingdom

This restaurant will not last! great location, but unless they play their game with regard to alcohol drinks and creative food options they go down. the front threshold had big screamers ants that a home, dead efeu at the front wall. the once beautiful water function was fish-free and surrounded by a fast growing grass garden. they were made of a very common alcohol and couldn't make a real manhattan. the waiter was new and we allowed this, but he could not remember his first name when he had to. all we have ordered was mixed, we have not given any lemon in the drinks, they came with lemon we did not say a plank on the salad, what? yup, came with swirling. we ordered salate and were calculated for full salate. the people had a less than wonderful meal and we sadly let ourselves for what was once a big restaurant and how we had to fight for everything we had ordered. the manager made the bill right, but it was still a big disappointment.

Good menu (no so many choices but touched all the basics We enjoyed the sea food selections. I would have rated the food if the scale had half-points I would describe the ambience as cozy and warm corner restaurant The bar was mid-sized and attractive. The restaurant itself was relatively empty (dinner was a Tuesday). A few more people would have made it more festive. Parking was super easy I am definitely going back.
