Rockland Cafe Bakery

What a fantastic little spot located on Main St in Rockland! Although I’ve never dined here before due to living over an hour away, I was thoroughly impressed. The service was excellent, and even though it was quiet, the place was consistently bustling. The customer service was top-notch! The food was outstanding, and the portion sizes exceeded my expectations for the price. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit again!

I have a genuine appreciation for Rockland Café! The diner-style food is delicious, although it is on the pricier side. During my visits, I encountered several different waitstaff, all of whom were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. One aspect I particularly love is the collection of historical photos showcasing the Rockland/Main Street area, adding a unique touch to this charming little diner. It's a delightful blend of great food and rich history!

Great local, non chain cafe serving regular favorites but also seafood specialities. Good service, good size portions of tasty food. A good find for us while visiting the town on a very rainy Saturday lunchtime.

This is by far my favorite place to get a good high quality meal especially for breakfast. Always large portions for the money and affordable too. The staff are always super friendly and helpful.

Our group of four stopped by for an early dinner on Sunday. There was a bit of a wait for a clean table, but the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend checking out the menu beforehand—there are so many delicious options! The Seafood Chowder is a standout dish, as is anything featuring Haddock. I tried the Clam Chowder and the seafood lasagna, both of which were amazing! To echo a recent review, if you’re looking for a quick meal and don't have the patience to wait, this place might not be for you. Luckily, we had no plans and were happy to relax, especially since the staff was so friendly and hardworking. Our server literally ran around to ensure that everyone had what they needed. Overall, it was a delightful meal, and I'm glad to support this local gem!
