Hopewell Winery - Rockport

Amazing ambiance and flavor! From the seafood boil to the wines, everything is absolutely delicious! Service is amazing, too!

This was the second time visiting Hopewell Winery and we were once again very pleased with our visit. We were able to sample several wines and enjoyed some of their homemade cider slush. Definitely a winery you should visit if your in the area or even if you want to venture out for a day trip like we did.

Loved visiting this winery. The wine, food, atmosphere and staff were all fantastic. Favorite Dry Red: Pinot Noir, Favorite Semi Sweet White Vignoles. Will definitely stop again when in the area.

Delightful little winery in rural Pike County, IL. Who knew! We visit lots of wineries and it is hard to find good, dry wines in the Midwest. Hopewell has mastered it! Their Cab, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are good! In addition, they have lots of very good semi-sweet and sweet wines. The peach is delicious. It is listed as a sweet wine, but has a hint of pleasant tartness that for me, would rank it as a semi-sweet. Delicious peach aroma! They have several snack available to accompany your wine. We had the cheese and crackers which was a plentiful serving of very nice cheeses. They host seafood meals and other specialty meals on many Saturdays. Looking forward to coming back for that! The outside is very pleasant, with a stone patio and tables with umbrellas. There are a lot of chairs in the lawn, though they don 't have tables. I think they would benefit from adding some side tables in the yard, making it easier to enjoy your wine. Overall, we 're really glad we stopped. We 're going home with several bottles of wine, and I feel certain we 'll be back!
