California Tortilla - Rockville

They were burritos, shells and guacamole. ground, but fresh and consistent.

This is their standard almost food chain takeout burrito joint a la suburb maryland. it is located in the heart of the inner city of rockville, close to (same block and street side) as a shelf cinema. So if you want to see a movie and eat fast, go here. there is a good number of sitting, it is quite cheap and there is a standard vegan burrito. they can customize to have a burrito bowl, and if they go crazy with adjustment they can choose everything they want and don't want! the no meat burrito bowl is pretty good, but in my opinion, for me all vegan tasty, such as guacamole, black bean and spinat get. everything else adds substance in taste or space, but I like these parts best. the grilled veggies are in order, but nothing to write home. However, I prefer their spinat, extra cilantro and hot sauce choices compared to some other similar chains! yum is what you make of it. fast and vegan – sometimes that's enough!

I ordered blackened quesadilla and got barbecue chicken, I returned it and got a half cooked dry NOT BLACKEND chicken quesadilla. Every single ingredient was dry the cheese, tortilla,chicken and the quesadilla as a whole. I only ate the amount I did because I spent $9 on it and couldn?t justify not eating at least a little of what I paid for. The people who I gave the rest of the quesadilla to all agreed that it tasted terrible and was dry.I seriously don?t know how they managed to make it this bad TWICE. If anyone plans on going to this California tortilla please reconsider and definitely don?t order the quesadillas

This location was closest to my hotel. The road that the restaurant is on has little to no parking. The spaces outside all have signs for 15min pickup. When we entered, there was no one inside except a gentleman milling about slowly. He responded slowly and seemed like any questions we asked were a huge pain for him. We ordered two burritos, ine with the chips and soda deal, three street tacos, and their Bangkok shrimp bowl. Pretty simple order. The guy missed the tacos. Luckily we noticed and ordered more, but the lady making them and the guy seems so put out by having to do work it really ruined the experience. It became cleR why it was only online orders coming in. The store did have a good amount of intelligent covid19 postings and guides. Beware, when you order the Bangkok shrimp there is so much cilantro that it makes your teeth squeak. Unfortunately to me it tastes like soap. The food was good, but customer service ruined it.

Had to stop at the courthouse to get an ID, California Tortilla was right around the corner. Clean resteraunt. Staff was very helpful considering it was my first time here. Got a bowl instead of a burrito. Very tasty. Upgraded with chips and a drink. The queso was very good as well. I would recomend stopping here.
