El Mariachi - Rockville

I absolutely love El Mariachi! The food is fantastic. When your plate arrives, take a moment to savor the wonderful aromas before your first bite. Each bite is a delight, featuring beautifully prepared and presented dishes that are incredibly flavorful.

I came here for lunch and found the decor didn’t quite match the food, but that’s not a big concern. Just go ahead and visit! The service was outstanding—my server was always available, and I never had to worry about an empty glass. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. The chips and salsa were fresh, although I would have loved to see a spicy salsa option. My enchiladas were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. I would definitely recommend this place. The fried ice cream was a perfect way to end the meal. It had been over 10 years since my last visit, mostly due to the distance, but I’ll definitely be making the trip more often now.

This restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere and a delightful blend of Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine. The chips and salsa were fresh, and while the salsa was flavorful, it didn't leave a lasting impression. The chicken fajitas were grilled to perfection as I requested, but they could have used more seasoning. However, the sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and tortillas were all fresh and nicely presented. The rice was quite tasty. The service was friendly and attentive, making it a good experience overall. Supporting a local business like this one is definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant is one of my favorites. The food is consistently good... my favorite is seafood enchilada... and the staff is professional, courteous and friendly. Five stars for food. However, the device is dated. If property wants to make a fast and cost-effective redo, the dingy ceiling tiles should be replaced with new ones, with updated lighting!

Food was pretty good, and the price was acceptable. The waiter was a little hard to track down and spent most of her time hiding in back, which was annoying when trying to order, get refills, and get the bill, but she was professional and friendly when actually here. She also forget to bring back our credit card. At the end of the day, I'd go here again, hopefully with a more helpful waiter.
