St. Veg - Rockville

Not sure how they cook the food at St Veg but each time I went the tater tots were hard.

There's something comforting about St Veg food. If it's rainy or I'm feeling like I need a pick me up I start craving it. I almost always stick to the Flavor Bomb Pho dip sandwich (the dipping pho is addictive), the shredded medley Bahn mi, and at least two apple pies (one for later). The apple pies are reminiscent of the McDonald's apple pies that I used to love as a teen, but even better.

We had caramel and medley bowls and summer rolls. So good, my kids loved it! Tatertots are fun too! They can work with any dietary concern and are very accommodating. Staff goes above beyond to help. Super friendly and welcoming staff! The owner is delightful and full of good information. I had a staff member check ingredients on each item due to a food intolerance so I have a list of what I can order in the future. We are now regulars since we found St. Veg!!! I love having an all vegan restaurant where I know we can all order off the menu not wonder what we're getting. Updated from previous review on 2020-01-30

9 year are the vegan meatball sub no issues 4 year old split the banh mi with me Wifey ate the mushroom pho sandwich… and we all ate the fried cauliflower Everything is great, personally me and wife disagreed on the sauce with the meatball sandwich. I thought it was ok, she said it was great, but again I grew up around a lot of Italians in the Nj/ny area so I’m picky about my sauce.

Casual place that offers a consistent and delicious all vegan menu. A little pricey, but for the quality, worth it.
