New China Buffet - Rockwood

The food at this restaurant is just average for Chinese cuisine. Having been around military bases, I've experienced much better Chinese food. By the time I got my buffet selections to the table, everything was already cold. The flavors were lacking overall; even the General Tso's chicken was disappointing, with a watered-down taste and appearance. I'm used to a rich, dark sauce with the chicken, but this dish was pale with a nearly clear, watery sauce. The beef and broccoli dish wasn't any better; the beef was tough and unappetizing. If this is considered the best Chinese restaurant, then it’s clear that there's much better Chinese food out there that you may not have tried yet.

It's not the best Chinese buffet I've ever visited, but it's the only one in Rockwood, so it's the only option if you're craving Chinese food.

I highly recommend trying the Chicken Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, and Sesame Chicken — all dishes were delightful and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, making the pickup process quick and easy. The atmosphere, although not applicable for takeout, is equally inviting when dining in. Parking is a breeze with plenty of free options available. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant enough for a delicious and affordable meal!
