Texas Steakhouse Saloon - Rocky Mount

Got wings and seasoned fries to go. They forgot to sauce the wings and to season the fries.

We had a very enjoyable meal. Effie was our server and she was friendly, quick, and professional. Our salads were fresh. My husband’s sirloin was tasty. I had potato skins which were crunchy and yummy.

Texas Steakhouse was attached to our hotel. I’m upset I didn’t eat there on the way up! From the moment I walked to the hostess stand my experience was amazing. The employees were so friendly, kind and overall must love their job because everyone was smiling! My waitress was the cats meow and I called the manager over to talk about my steak cutting like butter cooked to perfection! My only iffy complaint is the apples in the fried apple pie could be sweeter! See you next year!

We recently visited this restaurant while on vacation in Florida, taking a break from our road trip. It was conveniently located beside our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst dining experience we've ever had. To start, we ordered the ribeye steak and the stir fry skillets. The presentation of the plates was awful. The ribeye steak was not evenly cooked and had zero taste. For $32, I expected much better quality. The stir fry skillets were so salty they were inedible. The oven-baked potato that wasn't even cooked properly. It was hard and underdone, making it impossible to eat… We ended up with a bill of $100 for a meal that was incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and find somewhere else to eat.
