Herb's Tavern - Rocky River

The patio is lovely on a nice day. The service was excellent and very personal.

Herb's is even better than I remember. The service was fantastic, and the menu is both interesting and creative. The food was excellent, and the Blood Orange Margaritas were exceptional. It's a Westside landmark that's definitely worth a visit.

To begin with, the food was mediocre at best. We ordered a large serving of French fries, and since my son is picky, we specifically requested no herbs (including rosemary). However, they brought us fries with herbs anyway, which was incorrect. They did provide a replacement basket, but we ended up paying $28 for the fries! This was for two baskets, despite it being a mistake made by the kitchen and the service staff. Given this experience, we will not be returning.

Mediocre overpriced food. Why? Patti melt preformed garbage burgers. Crab bisque fishy and sweet gross pretty sure we both got ill later today.

Atmosphere and average service is the only thing you will find here. Very underwhelming and overpriced food. We got a large side of fries w/ nacho cheese and they brought out a small bowl formerly frozen crinkle cut fries with a side of gas station quality nacho cheese. And that was a $15 side? The patty melt was ok, and the au jus herb sandwich was good but very pink when I asked for medium.. also.. not worth $17. Upon paying and leaving I felt as if I was just held at gunpoint and someone just stole $77 dollars (no drinks) from my wallet.. I now remember why it took me 2 years to come back to this restaurant
